The mission of the Robert W. Plaster Foundation is to promote expanded educational opportunities, pride in America, and belief in the free enterprise system, for the benefit of America’s youth, through named capital projects.
Primarily, the Robert W. Plaster Foundation establishes and supports Robert W. Plaster Free Enterprise Centers. These are generally, but not exclusively, at colleges and universities, and often house business schools and/or entrepreneurship centers, located primarily in the mid west portion of the United States.
In addition, the foundation provides a very limited number of small grants supporting causes that are: in line with donor intent, in the mid west and typically for causes in communities in which family members have familiarity. These gifts are typically in the form of a challenge grant, aimed at helping charitable organizations inspire additional support and more supporters.
All of the projects funded should be consistent with Robert W. Plaster’s philosophy of giving in a conservative and Christian environment.
